High-Tech Running Shoes

Alex

I recently got some new running trainers and they are fantastic. The material has tiny holes, so air enters easily and my toes never feel hot, even in summer. I chose a simple black pair because I don’t like crazy designs. Usually, my legs ache after ten kilometres, but with the special soft bottoms of these shoes, I have lots of energy left when I finish. I always listen to music on my mobile while I jog, and now my morning exercise is my favourite part of the day. Best of all, I got them in a sale!

Ben

These modern running shoes are brilliant. I had to save my cash for two months to pay for them, but it was worth it. I chose the neon green and orange ones because I want everyone to see them! They look much better than boring grey ones. I don’t just jog in them; I also put them on when I play basketball at the weekend. I often go to the park with my mate, and we race each other. If I go too fast, I still need a rest, but my feet always feel amazing.

Carl

I didn’t know which brand to pick, but my best mate said these were the best, so I got them. The technology is amazing. There is a tiny computer inside that sends information to an app in my pocket, so I know exactly how many kilometres I did. I usually run in winter when it is freezing outside, so I wear thick socks with them to stay warm. I love how light they are for racing, but I take them off if I play football. They were actually quite cheap, too!

Sports Shoes and Daily Performance

Leo

I bought some dark blue sports shoes last week. I usually hate spending a lot, so I was happy when I found these on a special offer. They cost much less than usual! These trainers are quite big and they feel a bit heavy, but they are very comfortable. I never walk far in them, though. Instead, I just keep them in my bag and only put them on when I play basketball in the school sports hall. Even though I jump a lot, they still look brand new and I haven’t needed to clean them yet.

Mia

I travel several kilometres on foot every morning to get to college. Because of this, I needed some trainers that are great for everyday use. My new ones are amazing because they feel like I have nothing on my feet! They are so comfortable. I almost always buy black or grey shoes, but this time I decided to get bright pink ones instead. It was a big change for me! I wear them in the sun and on wet days, and they always keep my toes nice and dry.

Toby

My parents spent a lot of cash on my new running shoes for my birthday. The design is fantastic and they help me run really fast outside on the road. However, because they are completely white, every little mark shows up immediately. It is impossible to keep them looking nice! It poured down yesterday and there were lots of puddles. Buying Special Sneakers

Leo

I spent months putting money in a jar to buy the new Nike ReactX Rejuven 8 sneakers. I thought they would cost $150, but I found a special ticket online and gave the shop much less! I was so happy to keep some of my savings. However, when I put them on my feet for the first time, they hurt my toes a little bit. They do not feel soft at all. My brother stood outside the shop for two hours to get his, but I just ordered mine from my bedroom.

Mark

I really wanted a special pair of black and white Adidas shoes. They were very expensive, so I decided to put my old video games on the internet so people could buy them from me. That gave me enough cash! On the day the shoes arrived in town, I arrived at the store very early and stayed on the street for four hours before the doors opened. Now that I have them, I only wear them inside the house. I do not want any mud or rain on them because they look perfect right now. I do not use them for sports at all.

Dan

I love collecting sports shoes. I saved up all my birthday money for a pair of special Adidas Run Falcon 5 running shoes. I didn’t want black or white ones, so I picked a pair that is neon yellow! Everyone can see my feet from far away. They were quite expensive, and I didn’t get any discount, but they are worth it. They feel like walking on clouds. I am not going to keep them in a box.
