The Best Sunglasses for the Beach
Tom
I spent days looking at different websites before I finally chose these simple black sunglasses. I had to buy them because I left my last pair on a bus last month, which was annoying! They were quite expensive, so I used all my pocket money. But I am very happy with them because they are so light on my face and nice to wear for hours. They are perfect when I want to sit on my towel and read a book under the sun, but I take them off if I want to swim or run around.
Anna
I usually keep my things for years, but this summer I wanted some new sunglasses for our trip to the coast. I went to a small shop in the town centre with my family. These brown sunglasses didn’t cost a lot of money, which was great. Even better, my grandmother bought them for me as a surprise, so I didn’t spend anything! They look very modern, but the plastic is thick, so they feel a bit heavy on my nose after an hour. I just wear them when we walk to the beach.
Liam
I love being active by the sea. These sunglasses are great when I play beach volleyball with my friends because they never fall off when I jump. I found them quickly on a popular sports page and used my own money to buy them. They were not cheap, but they are excellent. I chose a pair with neon green frames, so they look very cool and bright in the sunshine. My sister thinks they are too colorful, but my friends at school love them!

Finding the Perfect Leather Belt
Oliver
I wanted a strong black belt to put on with my uniform from Monday to Friday. I walked to a big department store in town to get it. I didn’t want to use my laptop for shopping because I prefer to touch the leather first. I paid quite a lot of cash for it, but the quality is excellent. During the first week, the thick material was actually quite stiff and hurt my stomach slightly. Now, it is really comfortable. The metal piece on it is just normal, but I love the belt anyway.
Jamie
I didn’t want to spend all my pocket money, so I was happy to find a really low price. I looked in a few shops, but finally ordered mine from a popular website. The postman brought it in two days! I mostly wear it at weekends with my jeans, not in the classroom. The leather was very soft from the very first day, so it always feels great to wear. My favourite thing is the beautiful, shiny silver piece at the front. I am sure this fantastic belt will last for years.

I needed something strong to keep my trousers up. I didn’t use my own cash because my uncle surprised me with it for my birthday. We went into a brilliant clothes shop together to choose it. He asked if I wanted a black one, but I preferred the colour of dark wood to match my favourite winter shoes. The silver piece on the front isn’t very special, but the leather is amazing. It wasn’t cheap at all, so I only put it on for nice parties. I know it will look great for a long time.

Choosing Smartwatches over Traditional Watches
Harry
I used to wear an old silver watch, but I stopped when I wanted to do more exercise. My doctor said I should walk 10,000 steps a day, so I bought this smartwatch to count my steps. It is brilliant because I can leave my smartphone at home when I go running. I can still answer messages from my friends straight from my wrist. Sarah uses hers for music, but I just like the step counter. My sister gave me a normal watch last year, but I never wear it now.
Sarah
I love fashion, so I like my watch to look different every day. It’s great because I can put a new photo on the screen that is the exact same colour as my dress or jumper. Another brilliant thing is that I don’t need to take cash or bank cards to the supermarket anymore. I just hold my wrist near the machine to pay for my food. I don’t use it to check the temperature like my brother does, and I always carry my mobile phone in my bag anyway.
Mike
I never wanted a smartwatch because I thought they were too expensive. But my parents gave me one for my birthday, and now I really love it! The best part is the alarm. It makes a quiet noise on my arm at 7 a.m. every morning, so I am never late for school. Also, before I leave the house, I always look at the screen to find out if it will be sunny or cloudy. I don’t wear it for sports or use it to get things in cafes.
