The Future of Flying Cars

Oliver

I visited the transport museum early on Saturday morning, so the rooms were completely empty. The best part of the day was putting on a special headset and trying to drive a flying taxi on a screen. It felt so real! Some of the models looked very strange, but the information boards were extremely interesting. Before leaving, I went to the shop and got a small plastic flying car for my bedroom desk. I spent all my pocket money on it! Next time, I want to go with my best friend.

Lucas

I went to the show on Sunday afternoon. We had to wait in a huge queue, and it was hard to see everything because the halls were packed with visitors. I really loved looking at the modern vehicle designs. However, I think the cost of these machines will be extremely high. Normal families definitely won’t be able to pay for them! I wanted to buy a book about them, but I forgot my wallet. Even so, I am going to take my little brother to see it next weekend. He will love it!

Maya

The exhibition gave me a lot to think about. A video explained that a ticket for a flying taxi will actually be cheaper than taking a train. Also, I thought the motors would sound like loud helicopters, but they are designed to be almost completely silent. I couldn’t believe it! But to be honest, I feel quite nervous about the whole idea. If everyone goes up into the clouds, there will be terrible traffic jams above our heads, and they might crash. I prefer keeping my feet on the ground!
