Future Cybersecurity Experts
Oliver
I got my own laptop when I was only six years old. Since then, I’ve loved everything about technology! I want to work in cybersecurity because, last year, an internet thief took hundreds of pounds from my father’s bank account. That made me really angry! My dad works for a big company, but I want to become an officer and put these bad people in prison. I don’t care much about getting a huge salary, I just want to stop crime. Sometimes I help my friends with their broken phones, but I prefer writing code.
Samira
Many internet thieves try to put dangerous viruses on our computers. When I finish university, my dream is to build better software to keep our information completely safe from them. I also notice that many adults don’t know how to use the internet safely. So, I plan to start a free website to teach normal men and women about online security. I didn’t have a PC as a child, so I started learning late. Some of my classmates want to join the police to catch hackers, but I prefer working in an office making apps.
Kenji
I have always loved finding out how things work. Whenever my family’s television or printer breaks, I am the one who fixes it! Now, I want to use those skills to find problems in computer systems before hackers do. Cybersecurity is a very important job, and companies pay their workers very well. I hope to buy a nice house with what I earn. I don’t really want to be a teacher and explain technology to others, because I am quite shy. Also, nobody in my family understands computers, so I have to learn everything myself!

Future Theatre Actors
Oliver
Nobody in my house is an actor, but my biggest dream is to perform at a famous theatre. I want to stay in my hometown because the stages here are wonderful. I usually act in plays at my school. I talk very clearly and remember all my lines. However, my stomach always feels strange just before I step out in front of the audience! Some people like serious stories, but I prefer to do comedies because I love seeing people smile. It is the best feeling in the world!
Maya
I am lucky because my aunt is a director at a local drama club. She tells me all about the fantastic stages in our city. When I act, my favourite thing is actually sewing the colourful dresses and hats we use in the stories. I always prepare them myself! I wouldn’t like to do a one-person play. I love it when there are twenty or thirty of us working together on one project. We always have so much fun. Someday, I hope to see my name outside a grand building.
Ethan
I never feel worried when people watch me. I am very confident on stage! However, if I want to be a professional actor, I must get a teacher. I need to learn how to shout clearly so the people at the back of the room can hear my words. I hate choosing outfits, so I am glad someone else does that. I don’t want to stay here when I finish school. I hope to get on a plane and find a job in London or New York. I usually prefer doing small shows with just one or two other people, though.
