Marco

I want to be a top chef when I am older. Right now, my dad teaches me how to prepare different meals in our kitchen every weekend. I love watching him! I often read cooking books, but I don’t really watch food channels on TV. My absolute favourite thing to do is making cakes and sweet biscuits. Next year, I hope to go to a famous culinary school in the capital city. It is very expensive, so my parents are helping me pay for it.

Going to culinary school is my biggest dream. Some of my friends want to move away, but I am going to study here in my hometown because the college is excellent. Practicing to Become a Professional Musician

Jake

I want to be a famous rock guitarist. I always practice late in the evening, never before school. I don’t look at my laptop or phone when I play because screens stop me from thinking. Instead, I make up fresh tunes with my guitar, and I hope to record an album one day. It is quite difficult! Luckily, my grandfather is an amazing musician, and he shows me the best way to hold my instrument. He is a great teacher. Sometimes I feel sleepy, but I just keep playing.

Aisha

Learning to play the drums takes a lot of time. I hit the drums for two hours every day after my classes finish. By dinner time, my arms hurt and I just want to rest! My dad hates the loud noise, so I usually stay inside my bedroom with the door closed. I never play for anyone else. Because I don’t have enough money to pay for a teacher, I find helpful clips on the web. Seeing how other people hit the drums makes me much better.

Carlos

I play the keyboard and I want to do this as my job when I leave school. I always sit down at the keys at 6:00 a.m. before I eat breakfast! It wakes my brain up. Teenage Digital Marketers

Alex

I really love digital marketing! My uncle owns a small sports shoe shop, and I help him get more customers from the internet. I record short films of the different shoes using my phone. Then, I use a computer program to put the clips together and make them look amazing. My brother edits the sound, but I do all the pictures. Some people think it is very difficult to find the right words to type for an online campaign, but I actually think that is the simplest part! Next month, I will try to sell my uncle’s shoes in other towns.

Mia

Running online campaigns is really exciting, but there is so much information! I read heavy books about it every single weekend because you have to learn for a long time to do it well. Last week, I made a huge advertisement for our school music club. I couldn’t believe we had to pay so much cash just to put a picture on social media! One day, I want to design a smart new program for my phone that does all the difficult daily tasks for me automatically. My brother edits videos for his page, but I don’t know how to do that yet.

I have a popular webpage about new computer games. I don’t spend a lot of money to get visitors. Instead, I carefully put advertisements on different free gaming websites. The toughest thing is thinking of the perfect sentences to type under the pictures. It takes me hours to get it right! However, the best part of my morning is turning on my laptop to count how many fans clicked on my new messages while I was asleep. It feels great when a campaign is successful! My dad sometimes helps me check the internet, but it is completely my own project.
