German Sports Cars
Leo
I have always loved German cars, especially my red BMW. The bright colour looks wonderful under the sun. It can go very fast, but I only take it out on Saturdays and Sundays because I walk to the office during the week. I chose this specific model because it has a large boot with lots of space for my suitcases and shopping bags. However, keeping it working well is difficult. Whenever there is a problem with the engine, fixing it costs a lot of money.
Max
My Porsche is dark grey, which I think is very boring. I really wanted a bright blue one, but the garage didn’t have it. For me, the way a vehicle looks is much more important than how fast it can travel. I don’t really care about high speeds, as long as the design is beautiful. My car is quite small, so there is almost no space for bags in the back, and I never drive it to work. However, last month my uncle let me sit in his new sports car. We drove down the motorway very fast, which was amazing!
Toby
I bought a silver BMW last year and I love its clean colour. Many people only use sports cars on sunny weekends, but I drive mine to my office from Monday to Friday. It is perfect for my daily journey. It is also great because it is not expensive to repair when something goes wrong. Some sports cars can be dangerous, but I feel very safe inside mine because it protects me well. My brother took a photo of it and now he wants to buy the same model!

Driving a Porsche Macan in Thailand

I bought my luxury German SUV brand new in Bangkok. I love driving it, but keeping it running is difficult. The weather in Thailand is always very hot. Because of this, the battery inside the engine dies every twelve months, which is annoying. Last week, I took it for a basic engine oil change at the official company shop. I couldn’t believe the bill! It was much more than I thought. I love the car, but it costs too much. I am putting it on a website to find a new owner next week.
Vachara
Owning an expensive SUV can be hard. I didn’t want to pay the full price, so I bought my vehicle from an old friend when it was already three years old. A completely new model is too expensive. To save cash, I don’t go to the main dealership. I use a small, local mechanic near my home. It keeps the costs low, but finding the right tyres during the rainy season is still a problem. Some people say these cars break down often, but I think it is fine. I want to keep it for many years.
Preecha
I use my luxury SUV every day to go to work. It is an excellent vehicle because it almost never has any problems on the road. It handles the deep water in the streets very well. However, when my brakes stopped working properly, I had a big problem. The local garage needed to order the correct pieces from Germany. I had to wait for two months for the ship to arrive! Changing the engine fluids is usually quick and cheap, but waiting for those heavy parts was terrible.

German Sports Cars vs. Electric City Cars
Thomas
I love driving my German sports car. Before I tried it, I thought it would be hard to steer, so I was amazed by how simple it is to manage. It can go much faster than my old electric city car, which was fine for small streets but not much else. When the weather is awful and water is everywhere on the road, I always feel protected in my sports car because it stays perfectly steady. It is also perfect for holiday trips that take many hours with my family.
Anna
For me, how a car moves is the most important thing. That is why I prefer the German sports car over an electric one. It changes direction beautifully, and turning sharp curves feels smooth and simple. I always slow down when it rains because I want to be safe, even though the sports car is simple to control. My friend has a small electric car, but when the street is rough or has holes, it jumps around and feels terrible to sit in.
Lucas
I think German sports cars are excellent. The best thing about the sports car is the brakes. If an animal runs in front of you, you can bring the vehicle to a complete stop in a second. I feel totally in control. Small electric cars are great for towns, but on major highways where everyone travels fast, they just do not have enough power. I don’t usually go on long journeys, but I enjoy my daily drive because this car is wonderful.
