Renting a sports car for the weekend

Jamie

I wanted to make my weekend trip to the mountains perfect, so I arranged to get a fast sports car back in January. Doing this gave me a great discount! However, picking up the vehicle wasn’t simple. The office was hidden down a tiny side street, and it took me almost an hour to discover it. Once I was inside the car, there was plenty of room for my luggage. My brother came with me, but I didn’t want him to steer. I drove the whole time because it was so much fun!

Carlos

My parents’ wedding anniversary was last weekend, so I planned a surprise. I rented a beautiful red sports car to take them to a nice hotel by the sea. It cost quite a lot of cash, but it was worth it. On Saturday morning, I saw dark clouds in the sky. I really hoped the wet conditions wouldn’t stop us from having a good time. Thankfully, the sun came out later! We followed our map perfectly and never got lost. My dad asked to drive, but his eyes aren’t good, so I stayed in control.

Alex

Renting a fast car for our weekend break was a fantastic idea. We found the rental shop very easily right next to the train station. The only problem was that my long legs felt quite uncomfortable because the seats were so close to the front. We had perfect sunshine for our journey, but a bridge was closed. This meant we couldn’t go down the coast path and had to take the motorway instead. After an hour, I felt tired, so I gave the keys to my wife and she drove us the rest of the way.

Choosing a Safe Family Car

Robert

When I look for a large family car, I always check how safe it is for driving at night. The lamps on the front of the vehicle must be really bright so I can see everything on the road clearly. Also, parking a big car can be difficult in the city. I need a vehicle that gives a loud warning sound if I am going to hit a wall or another car. My wife likes cars with brakes that finish moving immediately, but I always drive very slowly anyway. We don’t need baby chairs anymore because our teenagers are older now.

Sarah

I drive my two children to school every day, so safety is my main reason for choosing a large car. The most important thing for me is the brakes. If an animal runs into the road, the vehicle has to finish moving immediately! I also love having a little screen on the dashboard. It is so useful because it lets me look at the street at the back of the car when I am going backwards. Finally, I prefer it when nobody can open the doors from the inside while we are travelling. A good car does this automatically!

Mike

I just bought a new SUV for our family holidays. My boys are only two and three years old, so the car must come with completely safe chairs designed just for little ones. I didn’t care about having extra screens or cameras inside because I prefer to use my own eyes to look at the street. Also, because we often drive in the mountains, I want the outside of the car to be made of very thick, heavy metal. If we have an accident, it shouldn’t break easily. I never travel in the evening, so that’s not a problem.

Reviewing Leather Car Seats

Marco

I love my sports car. When I bought it, the grey leather seats were a bit hard. But now, after two years, they look even more beautiful than on day one! The material is very soft now. Last month, I went on a long holiday and spent ten hours driving. I didn’t feel tired at all because the inside of the car is great. My friends say the car is too small, but I think it is perfect. I always keep a bottle of cleaner in the car, but I rarely use it.

David

My luxury car has black seats. When I first got the vehicle, they felt strange and it took me a month to feel happy with them. Now, I love them! My friends always love relaxing on them because the material is so soft. Another great thing is that my young children often drop their juice, but wiping off any dirt with a wet cloth is very quick. I don’t like driving for many hours, so I only use this car for short journeys to my office.

Elena

I wanted my new car to be unique, so I chose a dark red style. It looks amazing! The seats are very nice in winter because they warm up quickly. However, in the summer, when it is sunny and hot, the material gets too warm and it does not feel nice at all. My brother says I should clean them every week with a special soap, but I think that takes too much time. I prefer just going for long journeys through the countryside.
