New Lighting for Late-Night Studying

Alex

My brother and I share a bedroom. He goes to sleep early, so I needed a small lamp to do my homework late. My dad ordered one online for me. It is brilliant because it holds tightly onto the side of my desk, so it doesn’t take up any space. The beam points exactly at my textbooks, keeping the rest of the room completely dark so my brother doesn’t wake up. It only has normal white bulbs, not bright blues or reds. I don’t need to shop for any more lamps now!

Bella

Doing maths late in the evening was difficult because my ceiling light was too weak. I wanted a special smart lamp, so I saved my weekly pocket money for two months to get it. My aunt showed it to me on a website. It just stands flat on my work table, but the best part is the remote control. I can switch the bulb from cool white for studying to relaxing green or blue before bed! My eyes feel okay, but I still hate doing homework.

Charlie

I always study in my own bedroom, so I don’t have to worry about keeping other people awake. However, my old desk lamp broke last month. Luckily, my grandfather gave me a fantastic tall floor lamp as a present. It stands right behind my chair and shines perfectly over my shoulder. Before, reading tiny words gave me a headache, but my eyes feel completely fine now! I love how it looks, so I am planning to look for another small one soon to put near my bed.
