Older Brothers

Harry

My older brother, Paul, is completely different from me. While my hair is blonde, his is totally black. He is also not very big. Even though I am three years younger, I have already grown above him! Paul is extremely kind and clever. Every evening, he sits with me and explains the difficult math questions I get from my teachers. I wear glasses to see the board at school, but his eyes are perfect. He prefers reading inside the house, so he doesn’t really enjoy going to the forest or the beach.

Nick

My brother’s name is Mark. He is very tall with curly, blonde hair, so he looks nothing like our dad, who has very dark hair. Mark is someone who always tells the best jokes. Whenever he speaks, my friends and I smile and laugh a lot. He has a very relaxed personality and never shouts or feels mad about anything. One thing you will quickly notice about Mark is his face. He uses a pair of glasses because he cannot see very well. He usually helps me clean my room, but never with my studies.

Ryan

James is my oldest brother, and he is definitely the tallest person in our whole family! He is a very serious guy. He doesn’t usually tell funny stories or try to make us smile. In fact, if his plans go wrong, he often shouts and gets mad very quickly. However, he is really wonderful when we leave the city. He loves breathing fresh air and spends all his weekends walking in the woods or climbing high mountains. His hair is light brown, and his eyes are perfect, so he doesn’t need to wear anything to see clearly.

Fun with Our Little Sisters

Noah

I have a little sister called Mia. We spend a lot of time together after school. I am learning to play the guitar, but I am not very good. I prefer the piano. Actually, I am showing Mia how to use the piano keys to play simple songs. She is a very fast learner! Sometimes we draw pictures. I like art, but Mia always paints much more beautiful pictures than I do. My friends like playing tennis outside, but Mia and I prefer staying indoors. At the weekend, I usually do my homework alone.

Ethan

My younger sister, Lily, loves being in the kitchen with me. On Saturday mornings, we always get up early to bake cakes and biscuits together. We usually look at my laptop to find new recipes, but we don’t really watch any movies or shows on it. Lily loves chocolate, so we use a lot of it! We never keep all the food for ourselves. When we finish, we put everything in pretty boxes and hand them to our parents and grandparents for their birthdays. We usually listen to loud pop songs while we work!

Leo

My sister Anna is very energetic. We don’t like staying in the house all day. Every afternoon, we go to the local park with a ball and practice kicking it into the net. It is a great way to stay healthy! When we get back, we are usually very tired. So, we sit on the sofa and use my tablet to stream our favorite cartoon series. Why Our Grandparents Are the Best

Jamie

My grandmother is amazing. When I don’t understand my maths lessons, she always sits with me and explains everything clearly so I can finish my work. My grandfather lives far away, so I don’t live in the same building as him. Every Friday, my grandma comes over to our place and we prepare dinner for the whole family. We usually bake a big pizza or a chocolate cake! She sometimes gives me pocket money, but the time we spend together is the most wonderful thing I could ever receive.

Clara

I think my grandma is my best friend. I don’t see her every day, but I pack my bags and stay at her farm every summer. She knows so much about life. Whenever I have an argument with my classmates, she always tells me the best way to fix my problems. Also, we both absolutely love taking photos of nature. We walk in the forest for hours with our cameras looking for birds. She often prepares lovely sandwiches for our trips, but I never cook with her.

Mateo

My granddad is the most important person to me. I am very lucky because he has his own bedroom in our apartment. We see each other every single morning! During the winter holidays, we just relax in the living room and watch movies. I really love playing music, and last month, for my birthday, he handed me his beautiful old guitar. It is my favorite thing in the world! He doesn’t know anything about my school subjects, so he can’t check my notebooks, but he always listens to me practice my songs.
