Smart Kitchen Appliances

Chloe

I bought a smart cooker last month. My older sister has the same one, and she told me it was fantastic, so I ordered it online. It sits on my counter and looks so beautiful with its silver color. The phone app is really helpful because I can change the cooking heat from my bed. However, it takes a long time to clean after dinner, which I dislike. I also cook a lot of rice dishes in it, but I don’t use it to make any drinks.

Ryan

I have a smart coffee maker in my kitchen. It was on sale at the store, so it cost far less than usual, which was wonderful. I use the mobile app every morning to make hot tea or coffee before I even get out of bed. My favorite thing about this machine is that it is so simple to wash. It only takes a minute to clean it up. My parents want to buy one too because it looks very modern, but they think using a smartphone to make a drink is strange.

Lucas

My parents gave me a smart oven for my new apartment. On the first day, I had a lot of trouble getting my smartphone app to connect to the oven, and I felt quite worried. But now it works perfectly! My favorite part is that when I am out walking in the park, I can use my phone to see if my food is ready. It saves me so much time. It is not a very pretty machine, and it was quite expensive, but it helps me cook healthy dinners easily.

Studying with Noise-Canceling Headphones

Lucas

I live near a busy road, so studying in my bedroom used to be impossible. I got a weekend job at a local café, and after a month, I spent my money on these amazing headphones. I don’t usually play pop songs through them. Instead, I listen to rain or wind, which really helps me focus on my books. The battery is brilliant and never dies. My younger brother also has loud classmates at his school, so I often let him borrow my headphones when I am not using them.

Emma

My house is always noisy with the television and my parents talking. Fortunately, my aunt got me a pair of noise-canceling headphones for my birthday, so I didn’t spend any of my own pocket money. They are quite large, so it is hard to put them inside my small school bag, but they are very comfortable to wear. My sister always asks to try them, but I say no! I need them every afternoon to finish my maths projects without any interruptions.

Diego

I like to do a lot of my homework in noisy cafes. These new headphones are very small and easy to carry, which is great. They stop the cafe noise perfectly so I can concentrate. Actually, they are so good that yesterday I completely forgot the time and didn’t hear my phone ring when my mum called me for dinner! I bought them with my saved pocket money. The only bad thing is the electricity runs out fast. I have to plug them into the wall all the time.

Reviews of a Health App

Chloe

I love this new wellness tool. My aunt bought it for me as a birthday present last month, which was wonderful because I really wanted to track my daily habits. I was very happy to find out that you don’t have to spend any money to get it on your phone. The app rings to tell me when to drink water. I always have a large bottle on my desk at school. My brother uses a different health program that lets you change the alert noises, but I just use the standard bell because it is loud enough.

Dan

This software is very useful for my daily routine. I used to sit at my computer for hours without moving, but now a friendly message tells me to get out of my chair and stretch my legs. I also changed the reminder sounds to my favorite pop songs, so it is fun to hear them. However, when I am in lessons at school, I always silence the notifications so I don’t get into trouble with my teacher. My parents paid three pounds for their health app, but mine was a bit cheaper. I think it is great.

Toby

My cousin told me to get this app because I always forgot to drink liquids. It displays a clear picture of a water glass that fills up on the screen. Since using it, I feel much stronger and have a lot more energy during the day. Another amazing thing is that my face looks much better and smoother now because my skin is not dry anymore! I don’t use the exercise alarms because I already play football. I didn’t get this app as a gift; I had to pay one pound for it, but it was a great decision.
