A Surprising Weekend Project
Fifteen-year-old Leo usually loves Fridays. He always plans fun things for the weekend, like riding his skateboard or playing video games. But this Friday afternoon, his science teacher, Mr. Clark, gave the class some extra homework. Leo was very annoyed because he wanted to relax, not study.
On Saturday morning, Leo woke up early to start the work. It was a large project about the solar system. He had to draw all the planets and write some information about them. His best friend, Sam, called to invite him to the park. Leo felt sad because he had to say no and stay in his bedroom.
By Sunday afternoon, Leo finally finished drawing the planets. To help him write the information, he watched a short film about Mars on the internet. Surprisingly, he thought it was quite interesting. He learned a lot of cool facts about space. He forgot about missing the park and stopped feeling so angry with his teacher.
