Designing My Own Sports Clothes

My name is Sam and I am fourteen years old. I have two big hobbies: playing basketball and reading fashion magazines. I usually buy my sports clothes from a big shop in town. However, I always thought the t-shirts and shorts there were very boring. I wanted to wear something that looked completely different.

Last year, my aunt bought me a special drawing program for my computer. I started to draw my own sports clothes on the screen. In the beginning, it was quite difficult to use the mouse to draw straight lines. But I practised every evening after doing my homework, and soon I became very good at it.

Two months ago, I finished a really cool design for a basketball t-shirt. I sent the picture from my laptop to a local clothes factory, and they made the real t-shirt for me. When I wore it to my next basketball game, all my teammates were amazed. They said it looked better than the clothes in the shops!

Now, a lot of my friends want me to design outfits for them. I am making some special red shorts for my best friend at the moment. When I am older, I hope to go to college and then start my own fashion company.
