Toby

Toby loves making videos on his laptop. He started last year when his uncle showed him the basic buttons. After that, he watched a lot of useful clips on a popular website to learn advanced tricks. He is very busy with school from Monday to Friday, so he only creates his projects during the weekend. His program is free, which is great because he has no money. He loves all the cool text styles it has, and it works perfectly even on an old, slow machine.

Hannah

Hannah edits short films on her PC. She loves her current software because it costs absolutely nothing to download. However, she really hates the funny text fonts available because they look ugly on the screen. She usually works on her clips after dinner on weekdays before she goes to bed. She doesn’t watch online tutorials because she prefers to try things herself. Hannah thinks editing is just a fun hobby and does not want it to be her future career.

Alex

Filming Daily Videos with Small Cameras

Max

I make videos about my holidays with a tiny moving camera. It is completely safe to get wet, so I love filming with it at the bottom of the sea! I don’t use a large computer to cut my videos. Instead, I do all the work on my smartphone before I put them online. The audio is fantastic, but the power doesn’t last long. It turns off after just one hour, which means I have to plug it into the wall a lot!

Lily

I make daily videos about my life in the city. Every morning, I put my small camera on my bike and record my journey as I ride to university. It is much safer than holding it! The picture is beautiful, and it records all day without stopping. However, when I talk to the camera, people cannot hear my words clearly. Because of this, I always carry an extra microphone. Many of my friends ask me what camera I use because they want one too!

Oscar

I used to record my life with a big camera, but my mate said I should try this little one. He was completely right! It is so small that I can easily drop it inside my jeans when I am not filming. I don’t need a heavy bag anymore! I usually film myself cooking in my kitchen or walking in the rain. I never take it swimming because it might break. After filming, I send everything to my laptop to finish the video.

Listening to Music Safely Outdoors

Dan

I love listening to heavy rock music when I am outside. My old headphones covered my ears completely, so I could not hear anything around me. That was dangerous! Now, I have new open-ear buds. They are brilliant because I can easily hear trucks and cars when I am out on the street. I always wear them on my way to school whenever I am on my bike. They were not expensive because I bought them on sale in a small shop.

Leo

I got these special open-ear buds as a great gift from my parents when I turned fifteen last month. I think they are perfect for exercise. When I go for a run, they always stay safely in place and never drop to the ground. My brother has normal headphones that fall out all the time, but mine are excellent. Every evening, I enjoy wearing them while strolling under the trees in the large green space near my house. I usually listen to classical songs because it helps me feel calm.

Sam

I saved my pocket money for six months to get my new open-ear buds because the price was very high. They certainly cost a lot of money, but I am very happy with them! They are perfect for busy city areas. I love turning up the sound to hear my favorite modern chart songs and top radio hits. I know some people like jazz, but I prefer these fast tracks. They stay on my head well, but I don’t wear them when I walk in the park because I prefer studying at home.
