Leo’s Healthy Pet Food
Fifteen-year-old Leo loves spending his free time in the kitchen. However, he doesn’t bake cakes or cook dinners for his family. Instead, he makes healthy meals for dogs. Leo has a big dream: he wants to start his own animal nutrition business one day.
This unusual hobby began last year when his dog, Max, became very sick. The vet told Leo that the cheap pet food from the supermarket was bad for Max’s stomach. The vet explained that Max needed fresh, healthy meals. Because of this, Leo decided to learn how to cook for his pet.
Leo started reading library books and watching online videos about animal nutrition. He quickly learned which vegetables and meat are safe for dogs to eat. Now, he spends every Sunday afternoon preparing food for the whole week. He usually mixes chicken, carrots, and brown rice together. Max absolutely loves it and is very healthy now.
Recently, Leo’s neighbors saw how healthy Max looked and asked Leo to cook for their dogs, too. Now, Leo sells small boxes of his special dog food to three families in his street. A Great Way to Get Fit and Get Paid

A Young Bird Scientist
Fourteen-year-old Emma has a very different hobby from her friends. While they usually spend their weekends playing video games or going shopping, Emma prefers to sit in her garden. She loves watching the different birds that visit her tall trees. She often reads magazines about nature and thinks the people who work with wild animals are amazing.
Last month, Emma watched an exciting documentary on television. It was about scientists who travel around the world to track bird migrations.
