Using Online Reviews for Digital Products

Ryan

Before I buy a new computer game, I always look for information online. I prefer watching short video clips of people using the app rather than reading long paragraphs. It helps me see if a game costs too lot of money for what it offers. However, you must be careful because some comments on websites are not honest. Sometimes people are paid to say nice things! My older brother says I worry too much, but I want to spend my pocket money wisely.

Mia

I love buying digital stickers and music apps for my phone. When I look at reviews, I always try to find opinions from other teenagers. People who are the same age as me usually like the same things. Online reviews are very useful. For example, last week I planned to get a new drawing app. It wasn’t expensive, but many users wrote that it didn’t work well. Because of that, I changed my plan and didn’t download it. I think reading reviews saves a lot of time!

Owen

I download a lot of software for my school work, like video editors and photo apps. I always check the reviews to see if the program can run on an old laptop like mine, since I don’t have a brand new computer. I am very strict about what I buy. If a digital product does not have the highest score or five full stars, I will not get it. Some of my friends think that all reviews are true, but I know that isn’t always right. Still, it is the best way to choose.
