Choosing the Right Video Software
Max
My parents bought me a popular editing program for my birthday, which was quite expensive. However, it runs perfectly on my old laptop. I think it is not difficult to use, and I learned how to do everything in just one afternoon. It is great for someone starting out! I only open it at the weekend when I have free time from school. My favorite thing to do is editing short movie clips
of my little sister playing football. My teacher at school told me my videos look very good.
Sam
I love making videos of my friends skateboarding. I open my editing application Monday to Sunday because it is my favorite hobby. The program costs nothing to download, which is great because I do not have much money. It took me a long time to learn how to use it. The biggest problem is that it sometimes closes suddenly while I am working, and I lose my text and pictures. But because I did not pay anything for it, it is still fine!

I make gaming videos for my school friends. I use a professional program, and I save my pocket money to pay for it every month. It never has any problems. However, it is very heavy. Customising Our Jackets
Leo
I have an old blue jeans jacket that had a large tear on one arm. I didn’t want to throw it away, so I decided to hide the broken part with a colourful cloth picture. I chose one I bought on a holiday in Japan last summer. Putting it on the thick fabric wasn’t easy at all! My hands really ached from using the needle and thread. My brother loves drawing, but he didn’t help me with this project. Now, my coat looks completely new again.
Mia
I bought a simple black jacket last weekend. It looked a bit boring, so I asked my aunt to sit and make it look cool with me. We spent the whole afternoon choosing pretty shapes to sew onto the back. We didn’t use any souvenirs from our trips, just things from the local craft shop. Soon, I want to find some special patches that spell out what I am called. That will look amazing! Fortunately, the jacket is brand new, so there are no holes to worry about yet.
Sam
For my twelfth birthday, my parents surprised me with a plain green jacket. I immediately started collecting little metal badges to put on the front. I love playing the guitar and taking photos, so I always look for small designs of musical instruments and cameras. It only takes two seconds to push them through the material, which is much simpler than sewing! Some kids in my class put the first letters of their names on their clothes, but I prefer pictures. The Struggle for the Perfect Jeans
Chloe
I am very tall, so finding the right trousers is a big problem. Usually, the ones in supermarkets stop completely above my socks. When the weather is freezing, the wind hits my skin and I get really cold! Some special shops have much longer sizes, but the prices are so high that I cannot pay for them. I tried turning the bottoms up to make them look like shorts, but it looked terrible. Because of this, I usually put on dresses or skirts instead. It is just much easier for me. I don’t buy clothes on the web because I need to try them on.
Marcus
I am quite short, so every pair of jeans I buy is too long. They usually touch the floor and get dirty. To fix this, I just roll the ends over two or three times. I actually love this style, and my friends say it looks great! If I want them to look smart for a party, my grandmother cuts the extra material off for me with her scissors. I don’t like spending a lot on clothes, so I buy cheap ones from my local market. I bought a pair on a trip to London once, but they were still too long!
Elena
My legs are very long, but my body is short. I hate wearing skirts in winter because I freeze, so I must wear jeans. It is impossible to find my size in the shopping centre. That is why I always order my trousers from clothing websites. I can choose the exact length before they send them to my house! Last month, I was on a weekend holiday in Paris and walked into a small clothes store. Surprisingly, their normal trousers fitted me perfectly! I bought three pairs. My sister wanted to borrow them, but she is too small.
