Mountain Spa Reviews

Anna

I stayed at the Peak Resort last week. The best thing was that entering the relaxation area didn’t cost anything extra because it was included in my room price. I had a wonderful massage, and when it finished, a worker brought me a warm cup of sweet herbal tea. It made me feel so relaxed! The swimming pool was okay, but it was indoors and there were no windows, so you couldn’t see the outside world at all. It was also very quiet because there weren’t many other guests around in the afternoon.

Ben

The spa at the Mountain View Hotel is very beautiful, but it was very expensive to enter for the day. Also, it was not a peaceful experience because the rooms were full of loud guests, and I had to wait a long time to use the sauna. I went to the swimming pool next, but the water was a bit chilly, so I didn’t stay in it long. However, the employees there were wonderful. They were very kind, smiled a lot, and gave me clear directions to the changing rooms.

Chloe

I visited the Snow Valley Spa after a long day of skiing. It stays open late, so I went there after the sun went down, around 9:30 PM. It was very dark outside, but the lights inside the spa were beautiful. My favorite part was the large pool. While I was swimming, I could look through the giant glass walls at the beautiful snowy hills under the stars. The entry ticket was quite cheap. The workers didn’t say much to me, but it was a nice swim because no one else was there.

Staying at Boutique Hotels

Liam

I always stay in small hotels because the prices are often lower than in huge hotels, so I save money. Another great thing is the design. I love that no two rooms are the same; each space has its own special colors and paintings, unlike big international places where everything looks identical. The workers there are very polite, but they are often busy, so they don’t really talk to you much. Last week, I ate a simple breakfast at one boutique hotel, but I preferred going out to popular restaurants in the town center for my main meals.

Elena

For me, the best part of a boutique hotel is the personal feel. The staff always remember my name when I walk through the door, which makes me feel very special. I also enjoy learning when the old house was built and who lived there before it became a hotel. Many of these buildings have fascinating stories. Some people think these small places are always cheap, but they can actually cost quite a lot of money. However, I think it is worth paying more because you get an amazing experience that big, boring hotels cannot offer.

Lucas

I prefer small hotels because the dining experience is wonderful. The chefs use fresh vegetables and meat from nearby farms to cook traditional dishes, which taste amazing. When I first checked in last time, they gave me a free box of local chocolates, which was a lovely surprise. My bedroom looked exactly like the pictures online, but what I liked most was talking to the owner. He always tells me about the best secret places to see in the area, so I don’t even need to use a guidebook.

Leo

I use a PC program called EasyClip. The best thing about it is the price. It only costs a few pounds, so it is perfect for teenagers! A friend from school told me about it. I was worried it would be hard, but it only takes about ten minutes to know what to do. I don’t really add music to my clips. Instead, I use the program to help me with my schoolwork. My teachers always give me good marks when I give them a video project.

Sam

My favorite video editor is MovieMaster. It costs a lot, but my parents gave it to me for my birthday, so I didn’t have to pay anything. It took me a long time to learn how to click everything. My favorite thing to do is mix my favorite pop tracks with my clips. It makes everything sound great. When my movie is finished, I always upload it to the internet so all my friends can see it. I never use it for school, just for fun!

Mia

I really love making videos of my family holidays. I use a PC program called VideoStar. It was quite a high price, so I saved my pocket money for three months to get it. When I first opened it, I didn’t know how it worked. Luckily, my older brother sat with me and showed me all the tools. I don’t put my movies on the internet because they are just for my family to watch. I’m hoping to make a video for my dad’s birthday next week.
