2   The Smith family want to wake up and see the mountains from their windows. They plan to be out all day, so they need food in boxes to take with them, plus somewhere to dry damp boots.

3   Julia and her friends are travelling by train and need accommodation near the station. They want a cosy place to relax with board games after dinner, and a warm space to leave their wet hiking jackets.

4   David is a student looking for a cheap place to stay. He doesn’t want to cook, so he needs hot dinners cooked for him. He also wants to step out of the building directly onto the walking paths.

Wake up to spectacular sights of the valley directly from your bed. Before you leave each morning, collect a ready-made box of sandwiches and fruit to eat on your journey. When you return, just leave your wet boots and socks in our special warm room to dry overnight.

E Valley Bottom Hostel

This friendly accommodation features a large cooker and fridge where everyone can prepare their own dinners. We are ten kilometres from the hiking area, but a public coach stops right outside. Every bathroom features a large, deep tub, perfect for relaxing your muscles after a long, difficult climb.
