Jungle Adventures

Liam

Our trip to the jungle was amazing! We walked for five hours, and by the end, my feet were so heavy I had to sit down on a rock. I really wanted to go into the ocean to cool down, but we didn’t have enough time. While we were walking, I noticed some huge spiders, but they didn’t frighten me at all. The morning was completely sunny and bright, but in the afternoon, dark clouds appeared and it started raining heavily in just a few minutes! We had to run back to our boat.

Sofia

I preferred staying close to the white sand because the trees were so thick. I spent an hour playing in the warm, blue waves, which was fantastic! When we finally went into the forest, I kept my eyes closed half the time because there were so many large mosquitoes and ants everywhere. I really hate them! We stopped for a picnic, and I ate the sandwiches I packed at home. Just before we left, I noticed a bright red and yellow parrot sitting in a tree. It was gorgeous!

Noah

Exploring the island was the best adventure! We climbed up the tallest mountain, and the view from up there was incredible. We could see the whole jungle. Some people felt very tired, but I felt really strong all day. The sky stayed blue and hot from morning until night. As we walked through the trees, I heard lots of birds singing, though they were hiding in the leaves. We even saw a tree full of fresh mangoes. I picked one and it was delicious and sweet!
