Leo’s Electric Future

Sixteen-year-old Leo has always loved cars. However, unlike his friends, he doesn’t care about fast sports cars. He is deeply interested in electric vehicles. He knows that they are much better for the environment, and his biggest dream is to design them when he is older.

The Teenage Mechanic

Fifteen-year-old Leo has an unusual hobby. While his friends spend their weekends playing video games or going to the park, Leo loves getting his hands dirty. He spends hours in his family’s garage taking apart old engines. It all started two years ago when his uncle gave him a broken lawnmower. Leo didn’t throw it away. Instead, he wanted to see what was inside.

Now, Leo collects old, broken machines. His neighbours often give him old engines from cars, motorcycles, or gardening tools. First, Leo cleans the dirt off them. Then, he carefully takes every piece out to understand how they work together. Sometimes, if he is lucky, he can even fix them and make them run again.

Leo is doing this because he already knows what he wants to do in the future. He dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer. Next year, he is going to start a special engineering course at college. His parents are very happy with his hobby. They think it is great that he is learning such useful skills for his future career.
