Staying Charged on Long Trips

Leo

I always take my power bank when I go camping. I use my digital tablet a lot to read books in my tent, so I need to keep its battery full. I don’t use the power bank for my mobile because I leave that at home! My power bank is bright yellow. I picked it because I love bright colours, and it is easy to find in my bag. Some portable chargers are hard to carry, but mine is quite light. It was a birthday present from my mum, so I didn’t spend anything on it.

Zara

Last month, I found a great portable charger on the internet. It was in a special winter sale, so it was incredibly cheap! I usually travel to my grandparents’ house by train, and the journey takes hours. I need my phone for listening to music. My brother always plays games on his mobile and his battery dies quickly, so I always hand the charger to him for a while. The only problem is the size. It weighs a lot, so my backpack always feels really full when I walk to the station.

Max

My family and I go on long road trips every summer. I have a fantastic power bank that has two USB spaces. This means I can plug in my smartphone and my headphones together! It saves so much time. However, on our last holiday, I made a big mistake. I packed the portable battery in my suitcase, but I didn’t plug it into the wall the night before. When I tried to use it in the car, it was completely empty! Now, I always check it before we leave.
