The Teenager Creating a Space for Young Inventors

Sixteen-year-old Liam has always loved science and inventing things. Last year, he entered a big national competition for high school students. However, he noticed that there were absolutely no events for younger children in his town. Liam wanted to change this, so he decided to organize a local science fair just for them.

First, Liam had to find a large room for the event. He wanted to use the school gym, but the basketball team was practicing there all month. Instead, he booked the town hall. Then, he spent two weeks making colourful posters and visiting primary schools to tell the young students about his idea.

One ten-year-old girl built a small robot that picked up rubbish, and another boy made a solar-powered toy car. Liam walked around and talked to everyone.
